If court proceedings are issued under the Children Act 1989:-
If matters can be resolved at the First Hearing Dispute Resolution
Appointment, costs could be up to £3,000.00 plus a Court fee of £255.00 paid on submitting the application.
If matters progressed to a Directions Resolution Appointment
(DRA) then there could be further costs of £3,000.00.
If the matter has to go to a Final Hearing, there will be further costs of £3,000.00 to £5,000.00.
If the Court feels it is necessary for a Finding of Fact Hearing then
there could be further costs of an additional £5,000.00 to £8,000.00 depending on the length of the Fact Finding Hearing.
We must stress that these costs are estimated and can change depending on how a case progresses
